Lydia and Kent call South Florida their home during the winter months and Asheville, North Carolina their summer retreat. The two have a house in Delray Beach that they live in from Thanksgiving through Easter every year and a ranch home in Asheville, that they reside in the rest of the time. Their son Max, a music professor at a university in Colorado, periodically spends time with them in both Florida and North Carolina.
